This is Chip Ingram’s impassioned talk, “How to Develop Your Spiritual Gift for Kingdom Impact.” He lists 5 reasons to practice your gifts — not just research them. 1. Direction and purpose for your life. 2. Freedom to embrace and enjoy who you are. 3. The joy that results from impacting lives. 4. Affirmation of your victory with Christ. 5. Paul urges believers to put on the whole armor of God in Eph. 6:10-20. v. 10 – Be Strong in the Lord 10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. v. 11-12 – Satan is Our Enemy 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
