    Why listen to God?  God says to listen; we ache to know God and to be known and loved by God. The God of all things wants to talk to you. To hear that He loves us; to be intimate with God; to know that you matter to God. Guidance; clarity in place of confusion. When we hear and obey we experience miracles and answered prayer. Spiritual and personal growth and maturity; a rich inner life.

    In Acts 16, Paul and Silas traveled to Philippi in Macedonia. Paul expelled the fortune-telling spirit in a slave girl and her owners raised the crowds against them. The two were stripped badly flogged and imprisoned. That night a huge earthquake opened all the prison doors and loosened the chains on the prisoners’ feet.
