I am deeply grateful to God for living in a country where I have religious and political freedom. But we are only secondarily citizens of the United State of America. Why “Fear and Trembling”?
Continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. (Phil. 2:12b-13) I never understood these verses, never liked these verses, and ignored these verses. So of course God told me to teach them at my Bible study!
